Common Questions
Is 600mm long enough for a large bath sheet?
A standard bath sheet is usually 800mm to 900mm wide, so it will need to be slightly folded to fit a 600mm rail. If you prefer to hang your bath sheets completely flat, we recommend considering the 800mm version of this rail if your wall space allows.
Will the Matte Black finish peel or scratch?
Nero uses a high-quality coating on a 304-grade stainless steel base, so it won't flake or peel in a damp bathroom. However, Matte Black is a softer finish than Chrome. It can scratch if bumped by a ring or watch while you're hanging or grabbing your towel, so it does need a little more care than other finishes.
Can this rail be cut down to a shorter length?
Technically, yes, but we don't recommend it. Cutting the rail will void your warranty and may damage the finish. Nero offers a range of smaller sizes (like the 235mm compact rail) designed specifically for tighter spaces.
