MEIR / SLIDING DOOR HARDWARE

Sliding Door Edge Pull in Tiger Bronze

MeirÂ’s sliding-door edge pull provides a grip at the leading edge of a door that slides into a cavity. It is especially useful when the door is drawn back far enough that its face pull is difficult to reach. Tiger Bronze gives this functional fitting a richer warm-metal presence, especially alongside darker timber, natural stone and deeper-toned joinery.

The compact pull keeps the door edge functional without adding a large projecting fitting.

EDGE ACCESSHelps draw a recessed sliding door out of its cavity.
SLIM FACEPLATE80 × 22mm edge-facing plate.
LOW DEPTH14mm internal body depth.
STAINLESS STEELSolid stainless steel construction.

PRODUCT FUNCTION

Reach a door concealed in the cavity

An edge pull provides a place to engage the door when it has been pushed into its cavity or recess. Use it alongside a suitable sliding-door face pull where a concealed door needs to be drawn forward again.

DESIGN & USE

A small detail with a specific job

The narrow edge-facing plate occupies just 80 × 22mm, with a 14mm-deep body. That makes it a visually quiet piece of door hardware even when the door is fully extended.

DESIGN & FINISH

Tiger Bronze depth on the sliding-door edge pull

In Tiger Bronze, the sliding-door edge pull introduces a deeper metallic accent beside timber, textured stone and darker joinery. Because the edge pull is small, the finish provides a subtle point of continuity when it is glimpsed along the door edge.

For Tiger Bronze hardware, consider stained timber, earthy stone and dark cabinetry as complementary room finishes.

MEASURE BEFORE ORDERING

Plan the sliding-door leading-edge cut-out

Confirm that the sliding door edge has room for the 80 × 22mm faceplate and 14mm body depth. Check available timber/door construction and interference with any existing lock or edge fittings.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does a sliding-door edge pull do?
It gives you a point to draw the door out when the door face or flush pull has moved into a cavity.
Does it replace a flush pull?
Not necessarily. It serves a different position on the door edge and can complement a suitable face-mounted flush pull.
Where does it fit?
Into the leading edge of a sliding door, rather than onto the broad face of the door.
How large is the faceplate?
The faceplate is 80mm high by 22mm wide, with a 14mm-deep body.
Do I need an edge pull if the face pull stays accessible?
Its main purpose is to retrieve a sliding door that has moved deeply into a cavity. If the face pull remains accessible, an edge pull may not be necessary.
