Marbletrend Tile Tray for tiled shower bases
This Marbletrend Tile Tray is a lightweight, leakproof moulded tray designed to simplify building a tiled shower base while keeping the fall consistent to the waste. It can be installed on timber or concrete substrates and supports both hobbed and flat (hobless) floor junctions.

Installation notes
- The tray has an in-built fall, so the installation area must be level.
- Timber floors: reinforce framing (noggins at 450mm max centres) and keep the waste outlet framing opening within 200 x 200mm max, with suitable floor sheeting support.
- Fix the tray down with a water-resistant elastic adhesive/sealant applied as a continuous bead to clean surfaces (example referenced: Sikaflex 11FC).
- Ensure a watertight seal between the tray, puddle flange and waste outlet, and complete waterproofing to local building requirements.
- For tiling: clean the tray before tiling (methylated spirits recommended) and use epoxy-based adhesives for direct fixing.
- If the tray lip needs trimming for finished floor height, use a diamond blade and appropriate PPE.
