Cabinet and sink layout

This Citi UniCab unit gives you a single stainless steel sink bowl with drainer for soaking clothes, rinsing buckets and handling day to day washing up, while the 1200 mm cabinet below provides a mix of shelved storage and drawers for detergents, cleaning cloths and spare supplies. The kickboard base hides pipework and makes it easy to clean the floor in front of the cabinet, which is ideal in laundries, rental homes and shared facilities.

Installation and plumbing

• Install the cabinet level and plumb, fixing through the solid back panel into suitable wall studs or masonry anchors as required
• Fit the Citi 1200 stainless steel sink top with a continuous bead of neutral cure silicone around the top edges of the cabinet, then seal around the back and sides where it meets the wall to help keep water out of the carcass
• Waste outlet and tapware must be installed and connected by a licensed plumber in accordance with local regulations
• Always check available space, door swing and drawer clearance before fixing the unit in place, especially in tight laundries and narrow kitchenettes

Cleaning and care

• Wipe cabinet surfaces regularly with a soft cloth and mild soapy water, avoiding harsh detergents, bleach, abrasive pads and cream or wax cleaners
• Clean the stainless steel sink with a non abrasive kitchen or bathroom cleaner, then rinse and dry to help reduce water spots
• Avoid placing very hot items directly on the sink top or cabinet surfaces to minimise the risk of discolouration or heat marks
• Spills of strong chemicals such as hair dye, solvents and similar products should be wiped up immediately to help prevent staining or damage
