Bench Seating for Hospitality Venues

Long bench seating works naturally in pubs, beer gardens, breweries and casual dining venues where shared tables form part of the atmosphere. With the seating supplied as part of the setting, there is no need to arrange individual chairs around each table.

A Practical Format for Outdoor Venue Layouts

The simple rectangular footprint makes the setting easy to use individually or repeat throughout larger courtyards and beer gardens. Hardwood adds warmth to the space, while the black steel frame works comfortably alongside brick, concrete, paving, timber decks and landscaped outdoor areas.

Hardwood Timber & Galvanised Steel

The dining and seating surfaces are made from hardwood timber slats, supported by fully galvanised steel frames with a matte-black powder-coated finish. Natural variation between the timber slats gives each setting its own character rather than the uniform appearance of a synthetic surface.

Timber Care ⌄

Hardwood is a natural material, so variations in grain, colour and tone are expected between individual slats and between settings.

To help maintain the timber and preserve its appearance, apply a suitable exterior timber oil a couple of times each year. Furniture with particularly high exposure to sun and weather may benefit from more frequent treatment.

Clean the timber as required and re-oil when it begins to look dry or faded. Outdoor hardwood will naturally change in colour over time with exposure to weather and UV.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this setting suitable for pubs and beer gardens?
Its table-and-bench format is particularly well suited to pub beer gardens, breweries, outdoor bars, cafes and other casual hospitality areas where communal seating is preferred.
Can multiple settings be used throughout one venue?
Yes. The rectangular format makes the settings straightforward to arrange individually or repeat through larger courtyards and beer gardens. Appropriate customer and service circulation space should be allowed between settings.
Is the steel frame galvanised?
Yes. The steel frames are fully galvanised and finished in matte-black powder coat.
Does the hardwood require maintenance?
Yes. Apply a suitable exterior timber oil a couple of times each year to help maintain the timber, with more frequent treatment where exposure to sun and weather is particularly high.
Will every setting have exactly the same timber colour?
No. Hardwood is a natural material, so grain, colour and tone will vary between individual pieces.
