The Heller HSH1200 wall mounted strip heater is a compact 1200 W radiant heater designed to give quick, focused warmth in bathrooms, ensuites and laundries. The slim silver body mounts high on the wall and tilts to direct heat where it is needed, while the simple pull cord lets you choose between low and high heat settings without reaching for a switch.

This Heller strip heater uses a quartz radiant element that provides direct, comfortable warmth to people and surfaces instead of trying to heat all the air in the room. It is well suited to smaller bathrooms and ensuites where you want instant heat when stepping out of the shower, or to take the chill off a laundry or dressing area on cold mornings.

The pull cord control makes it easy to turn the heater on and select the heat setting while the unit is mounted high on the wall. Choose the 600 W setting for milder days or smaller rooms, or use the full 1200 W output when you want maximum warmth.

Installation and safety

The HSH1200 is designed for indoor use only and must be installed as a fixed wall mounted heater. It is not suitable for outdoor areas.

• Your radiant strip heater is designed for horizontal wall mounting only and must not be mounted on the ceiling or floor.
• Mount at least 1.8 m above the floor and at least 0.3 m below the ceiling.
• Keep at least 0.5 m clearance from adjacent side walls.
• Maintain clear space of at least 1 m in front of the heater and at least 50 cm behind it, away from towels, curtains and other combustibles.
• If fitted in a bathroom, install the heater so that switches and other controls cannot be touched by a person in the bath or shower.
• Do not use the heater to dry clothes and do not cover the grille.
• Avoid installation near heat sensitive surfaces and do not install close to curtains or other combustible materials or immediately below a power point.
• Installation is strongly recommended to be carried out by a licensed electrician in accordance with local regulations.
• Always read the supplied instructions before installation and use, and ensure children are supervised around the heater while it is operating.
